This post is long, LONG overdue! During my family’s annual visit to Chicagoland this summer, we set up our own photo shoot…in JULY. I’ve felt guilty editing several other shoots of my clients while my own family photos continue to be pushed to the back of the line. After several ‘subtle’ hints from my mom, I figured it’s in my best interest to finally find time to finish editing our session…I do, afterall, want a Christmas present. Haha! Honestly, thanks for your patience and understanding guys!
One thing I learned during this shoot is that it is very challenging to be a photographer…when you are suppose to be in the pictures! We managed to do our best to work the timer and remote control all while attempting to get Nora to look at the camera (forget smiling at this point). After the group photos were finished, Kevin did a great job snapping some shots of me with my beautiful sisters and adorable parents. Soon after, I was in my element and had so much fun chasing my 20-month-old niece around town (in high heels). Nora Brynn certainly has a mind of her own! She was just too busy to allow mommy to fix her hair and you can certainly see in the photos how much she loves to be smothered by her parents! Little miss independent took charge and led us around downtown to some cute backgrounds. She’s such a doll and we all truly adore her! I often wonder what we all did before God blessed our family with her cute little self. I love you guys! Enjoy the photos!
