I adore Chicago! When I was asked to do this shoot on the gorgeous lakeshore of the greatest city in the world, I was pumped. I couldn’t ask for a better background – Chicago’s skyline is simply breathtaking! I met up with the Barcenas family downtown on one of the several sweltering 90 degree summer days in Chicago this year. It was piping hot, but that didn’t stop this family from having fun – what troopers they were. This occasion was very special because it’s very seldom the Barcenas family is able to get everyone together. The session was held just a day before a few members of the family made their way back home to Arizona and Michigan. After snapping some shots on the lakeshore, we zig-zagged through Chicago traffic during rush hour over to Wrigley Field…my old stomping grounds. A great day + a great family surely equals some great photos! Enjoy!
